No one likes the hassle of having to drive to pick up groceries or food for dinner. Luckily for us, there are plenty of delivery services and subscriptions available that will bring everything you need right to your front door!

Grocery Delivery

Imperfect Foods
This delivery service’s philosophy encompasses the idea of “rescuing” food to minimize food waste. Often, fresh produce and more go to waste due to cosmetic imperfections. With an Imperfect Foods subscription, you can save good food from getting thrown out through weekly or biweekly deliveries. Through their website, you can browse their shelves to add or remove food from your delivery during your shopping window. This way, you get top picks of yummy options like zucchini, quinoa, tomatoes, prepackaged pasta, and even coffee! imperfectfoods.com

Instacart
Another grocery delivery and pickup service, Instacart provides options to purchase everything you need through a website and mobile app. After choosing a local store like Sprouts, Sam’s Club, Costco, and more, you can shop their shelves and pick any items you would like. Upon checkout, personal shoppers will collect your items and deliver them to you. You can even chat with your shopper through the app to manage any issues that arise, like needing to substitute an unavailable item. instacart.com

Gopuff
Gopuff is a grocery delivery service similar to Instacart that boasts an average 30-minute delivery time and a low $3.95 delivery fee or free delivery with a monthly subscription. On their website or mobile app, you can add groceries, over-the-counter medicines, home essentials, and anything else you can think of to your digital cart. After checkout, a Gopuff employee or delivery partner will zip your order to you and you’ll be good to go! gopuff.com

Walmart+
Do you want the deals Walmart offers without having to drive to the store? With Walmart+, this membership allows you to purchase a minimum of $35 worth of groceries and have them delivered to your house for free. This can be done through the Walmart app or on their website. Purchasing a membership also grants you free shipping and other deals! walmart.com

Fast Food and Restaurant Orders

DoorDash
DoorDash is an online food ordering and delivery service that grants you access to your favorite local eateries from the comfort of your couch. By simply downloading their app or visiting their website, a selection of fast food restaurants and local eateries will be available for you to pick meals from. Once you have selected and purchased the food, a delivery driver called a “dasher” will swing by to pick it up and hand it to you. doordash.com

Uber Eats
Just like DoorDash, the Uber Eats menu is yours to scroll through and purchase from at any time on your mobile phone or computer. You can schedule the food to be made immediately or delay the order until later. Either way, a delivery driver will be on standby to collect your order for you. ubereats.com

Postmates
Postmates was recently acquired by Uber, but the app still functions independently from Uber Eats and possibly will offer you a different selection of restaurants to choose from. Like Uber Eats, you can place a delivery order from your favorite restaurant through their mobile app or desktop computer. With the promise of safe, fast delivery, you’ll be enjoying your meal from the comfort of your couch in no time. postmates.com

GrubHub
Popular on college campuses, GrubHub helps fill bellies by offering customers a diverse list of restaurants and fast food options through their app and website. You can search by the type of cuisine you’re craving, by restaurant name, or by the name of the food you’d like to eat. When you’ve decided, placing an order for delivery is a breeze. grubhub.com

ASAP
Formerly known as Waitr, ASAP originated in Lake Charles but over time, it has fanned out all across Louisiana and the southeastern stretch of the United States. Like other companies of this nature, ASAP allows you to pick meals from your favorite local restaurants or try something new. Once you’re satisfied with your choice, you pay, and a delivery driver will get to work bringing it to you. asap.com
